Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Pharmacist In-Charge (PIC) to lead and oversee pharmacy operations at a new facility. The PIC will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, manage staff, and uphold high standards of patient care.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) regulations
Manage and supervise staff pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
Ensure accurate medication dispensing, patient safety, and regulatory compliance
Develop and implement quality assurance programs
Maintain inventory control and procurement
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy
Requirements:
Active Texas Pharmacist License and eligibility to serve as a Pharmacist In-Charge
Minimum three years of pharmacy experience, preferably in specialty or long-term care pharmacy
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of pharmacy regulations, inventory management, and insurance billing
